Every three years ICOA holds the Pogue Elms fund raffle. Proceeds go directly to safety and training of Idaho conservation officers.

Campers are taught a variety of outdoor skills including a hunter safety course. Group counselors, instructors, and organizers are all Idaho Conservation Officers.
